Guide for setting shelf life

To help businesses estimate the shelf life of products - particularly ‘use-by’ dates for food safety - the Authority has produced the guide Shelf life testing, ‘Use-by’ dates for food safety.
The guide focuses on the shelf life of chilled ready-to-eat foods but also includes general information and highlights areas where expert assistance could be required.
