The NSW Food Authority advises: 

Product information: Herbie's Spices is conducting a recall of the below products. The products have been available for sale at independent food retailers including IGA, health food stores and online food retailers nationally. 

• Raita Spice Blend 30g 

• Chaat Masala 50g 

• Black Salt 40g 

Date markings: Best Before dates from 18 Jul 2024 up to and including 18 Jul 2025. 

Problem: The recall is due to the presence of undeclared allergens (peanuts and tree nuts).  

Food safety hazard: Any consumers who have a peanut and/or tree nut allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.  

Country of origin: India 

What to do​: Consumers who have a peanut and/or tree nut allergy or intolerance should not consume these products and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
