SHIN MI AUSTRALIA PTY LTD is conducting a recall of the products below. The products have been available for sale at various Asian supermarkets and IGAs in NSW.

Product details:

  • Fish Cake Mini Sausage (Miss bong), 340g
  • Fish Cake Mini Sausage (Kkotge bong), 340g
  • Fish Cake Mini Sausage (Buldak bong), 340g
  • Fish Cake Mini Sausage (BBQ bong), 340g
  • Fish Cake Mini Sausage (Cheese bong), 340g

Date markings: All best before dates up to and including:
FEB.25.2020; MAR.19.2020; MAR.23.2020; MAY.13.2020; MAY.22.2020; JUL.08.2020, JUL.26.2020

Problem: The recall is due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (egg).

Food safety hazard: Any consumers who have an egg allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.

Country of origin: Republic of Korea

What to do: Consumers who have an egg allergy or intolerance should not consume this product and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund. If you are concerned about your health, you should seek medical advice.
