Spring Bay Australian Mussels

The NSW Food Authority advises:

Spring Bay Seafoods has recalled its Spring Bay Australian Mussels (1kg and 2kg packets and 1kg net bags) from fish markets, seafood distributors, wholesalers and Costco in NSW, QLD, VIC, TAS, NT due to biotoxin (Diarrhetic Shellfish Toxins) contamination.

Details are:

• Spring Bay Australian Mussels - blue packets (1kg) and yellow packets (2kg) and net bags (1kg).
• Use By:
  • 24 MAR 2016, 25 MAR 2016, 26 MAR 2016, 27 MAR 2016 (packets)
  • 22 MAR 2016, 23 MAR 2016, 25 MAR 2016 (net)

Food products contaminated with Diarrhetic Shellfish Toxins may cause illness if consumed. Consumers should not eat this product.

Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.

The products can be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
