The NSW Food Authority advises:
Champtrade International Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of Xiong Mao Pai (Panda Brand) Dried Bamboo Fungus 20g due to the product containing excess amounts of Sulphur Dioxide. The product has been available for sale at Asian supermarkets in NSW, ACT and SA.

Problem: The recall is due to excess amounts of Sulphur Dioxide.
Food safety hazard: Food products containing excess amounts of Sulphur Dioxide may cause illness if consumed.
Country of origin: China.
What to do: Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
