Regular consultation

Three consultation forums are held around NSW each year as part of the retail and food service industry group.

Consultation forums provide the opportunity to learn about current, practical aspects of food safety regulations that affect retail business’ day-to-day operations. They also provide a platform for open dialogue between retail food businesses, local council Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) and representatives from the NSW Food Authority.

Topics that will be covered at the next consultation forum include:

• Food safety and hygiene issues commonly seen in the local area, and how to overcome them
• Overview on the Scores on Doors program – how it can bring benefits to both your business, as well as to your customers.
